Qualcomm Keynote to Explore On-Device AI at CES 2024

Overview In an era that’s seeing artificial intelligence change how consumers work and play, Qualcomm is breaking new ground in harnessing AI for deeper engagement with our devices. The key tech to this end is on-device AI, a means of deeply customizing device performance in line with users’ unique input and cues. President and CEO Cristiano Amon will discuss the technology’s potential in a CES 2024 keynote. He’ll be joined for a fireside chat by Liz Claman of Fox Business Network.

Most consumers today live online, never far from a smart phone, tablet, PC or other connected device for very long. We expect immediate and exactly-right responses to our queries, and we want our devices to flex to our preferences.

As a top designer and manufacturer of semiconductors, wireless telecom products and more, Qualcomm knows how to meet the market’s demands. Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Aman will explore the potential for generative AI and, specifically, how on-device generative AI can make devices respond to individuals’ input in ways that transform the user experience. He’ll do so in a keynote conversation at CES 2024 with Liz Claman, Fox’s Emmy Award-winning newscaster.

We're entering the age of generative AI, and on-device generative AI has the potential to profoundly impact how we interact with our devices. Running AI pervasively and continually on the device will transform our user experience, making it more natural, intuitive, relevant and personal with increased immediacy, privacy and security. I’m excited to share more about how our devices will be seamlessly integrated into our lives at CES.
