Alvaro Velasquez

Alvaro Velasquez is a PM at DARPA on neuro-symbolic AI and autonomy. Before that, Alvaro oversaw the machine intelligence portfolio for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). He has received the distinguished paper award from AAAI and has authored over 100 papers. Alvaro serves as Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on AI and co-founder of the Neuro-symbolic Systems (NeuS) conference.
