Jonathan is a Senior Design Engineer at Smart Design, developing software-enabled kitchen appliances. With a PhD from Columbia Engineering, he’s spent the last decade pioneering digital cooking technologies. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles in npj Science of Food (Nature Portfolio) and other scientific journals, and has been featured by BBC, CNN, WIRED, The Guardian, and Axios.
