Chris Urmson is the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Aurora and a pioneer in self-driving technology. He began his career leading Carnegie Mellon’s DARPA Challenge teams, then helped launch and lead Google’s self-driving car project (now Waymo). In 2017, he co-founded Aurora and has led the company to be the first to deploy a self-driving class 8 trucking service on public roads in the U.S.
