Roth was sworn in as Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information on July 30. In this role, she serves as Administrator of NTIA, the Executive Branch agency principally responsible for advising the President on communications, broadband, and internet policy. Prior to NTIA, Roth spent nearly a decade shaping federal broadband policy in senior roles on Capitol Hill and the FCC.
