The CES Innovation Awards® 2026 program is an annual competition honoring outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products. For decades, the program recognizes honorees in a multitude of consumer technology product categories and distinguishes the highest rated in each. The program has a history of honoring innovations like Ford F-150 Pro Trailer Backup Assist, LG Electronics World's First Blu-Ray Recorder / DVR Combo, and iRobot Scooba.

The CES Innovation Awards® 2025 awards program received a record-breaking number of submissions – over 3400 across 33 categories!

About the CES Innovation Awards Program

The CES Innovation Awards® program is open to any individual, organization or authorized agent who manufactures, designs, engineers or promotes technology products. Product must be new and available in the market for the first time between April 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026, or can be a significant advancement of a previous model in the market within the same time period.  

A panel of industry expert judges and global media review applications in each product category based on specific criteria 

With unique categories like beauty tech, construction & industrial tech, ed tech, fashion tech, robotics, sports & fitness, and more, the program highlights that tech is important in every industry.  

Honorees have the chance to display their innovation at the CES Innovation Awards Showcase on-site at the Venetian Expo at CES, the most powerful tech event in the world.   

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® does not test or endorse the Innovation award-winning products 

Honoree Selection 

Program recognizes all CES Innovation Award recipients as ‘Honorees”. There are two (2) levels of honorees: 

  • Honoree: The class of Products that score above the scoring threshold in each category.   
  • Best of Innovation: The highest-scoring Honoree(s) in each category. CTA reserves the right to not award a Best of Innovation winner or award multiple winners based on judge scoring. 

Evaluation Criteria 

All Product submissions are reviewed and scored based on the following criteria:  

  • Engineering and functionality  
  • Aesthetic and design  
  • What makes the product unique and innovative
