CoDrone EDU+ is a programmable educational drone for grades 6–12, designed to introduce students to STEM, CTE, and the future of AI learning. Students program flights using Blockly or Python, with access to gyroscopes, accelerometers, infrared range sensors, and new dual cameras. Together, its sensors turn the drone into a flying smart car and give students foundational AI skills. Payload attachments allow students to simulate applications from emergency response to film and entertainment with more depth than with CoDrone EDU. EDU+ balances innovation with classroom practicality: it offers rock-solid multi-drone connections, COPPA/FERPA compliance, and a free, standards-aligned curriculum created by educators. The system supports both classroom use and the national Aerial Drone Competition, organized by Robolink’s non-profit partners at the REC Foundation.
