ALLIE is a set of intelligent building fixtures, including a light switch, power outlet, and ceiling vent, with integrated sensors and on-device AI. A 60 GHz mmWave radar measures presence, posture, and gait trends; ambient light and environmental sensors support nighttime navigation and HVAC control. The fixtures coordinate locally to detect potential falls, adjust lighting when a resident gets up, and send alerts to caregivers or facility systems. No cameras or wearables are required. The platform records room-level activity and energy data, enabling automated lighting and vent control to reduce consumption and improve comfort, including the use of predictive analytics to plan for energy use. Two-way audio and powerline communication through existing wiring provide AI-enabled emergency response vectors to ensure safety in emergency situations. The system is designed for retrofit installation and continuous operation in built environments.
