Jim O'Neill
Deputy Secretary, Department of Health Human Services
Deputy Secretary O’Neill served at HHS from 2002–2008, leading FDA safety reforms and helping launch ASPR. He later worked at Clarium Capital, led the Thiel Foundation, and co-founded the Thiel Fellowship. As CEO of SENS Research Foundation, he advanced regenerative medicine research. He holds degrees from Yale and the University of Chicago.
