December 10, 2025
Bloomberg’s Ed Ludlow to interview Hale about the future of health technology
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, owner and producer of CES®, the world’s most powerful tech event, announces ŌURA CEO Tom Hale will keynote the CES 2026 Leaders in Technology (LIT) Dinner. This invitation-only event on Wednesday, January 7, gathers policymakers, technologists, media, and entrepreneurs for conversations on the intersection of innovation and technology policy.
Hale’s business strategy and vision for ŌURA puts the company at the forefront of consumer health innovation with Oura Ring, the world’s most trusted smart ring that tracks sleep, readiness, and daily health metrics via medical-grade sensors. Founded in Finland, ŌURA has quickly expanded and has sold more than 5.5 million rings globally. With continuous hardware and software advancements, consumers have accurate health data at their fingertips to make more informed decisions and lead healthier lives.
“For more than a decade, Oura Ring has been a personal health companion that gives our members a holistic view of their health by pairing personal data with meaningful, actionable insights to facilitate long-term change,” said Hale. “The next decade will be even more transformative as AI accelerates and wearables like Oura Ring help drive preventive healthcare, longevity, and a new era of personal agency over health. I look forward to sharing this vision at CES 2026.”
Ed Ludlow, co-host of Bloomberg Technology, will interview Hale in a fireside chat. The conversation will explore evolving opportunities in health technology, data privacy and security for global products, and what it takes to create a digital health regulatory environment that unlocks innovation and empowers consumers to manage their own health.
“ŌURA’s groundbreaking technology gives people access to their own health data in truly transformative ways,” said Kinsey Fabrizio, President, CTA. “As an ŌURA fan myself, I’m thrilled to see the company pioneer data insights that are helping us live longer, prevent illness, and take charge of our well-being.”
“AI-powered digital health solutions are a standout at CES 2026, and we’re excited to welcome Tom Hale and Ed Ludlow for a conversation on how these products are shaping the future of health,” said Gary Shapiro, CEO and Vice Chair, CTA.
Hale joins keynoters Dr. Lisa Su of AMD, Joe Creed of Caterpillar, Yannick Bolloré of Havas and Vivendi, Yuanqing Yang of Lenovo, and Roland Busch of Siemens AG at CES 2026.
