The Future of Mobility Is Picking Up Speed this January
DETROIT – November 2, 2026 – With more than 350,000 square feet of vehicle tech exhibits, the future of mobility is taking over CES® 2027. Announced earlier today at a Detroit media event, CES 2027 will be the largest mobility footprint ever, bringing together the companies, technologies and leaders defining how the world moves. CES will showcase cars that think, vehicles defined by software, robotaxis moving through cities, AI transforming the driving experience and intelligent machines reinventing how we move people, goods and entire industries.
Across autonomous transportation, aviation, marine technology, heavy machinery and connected infrastructure, CES will showcase an increasingly connected mobility ecosystem. AI, advanced computing, connectivity and automation are bringing these industries together and creating new opportunities across transportation, technology, energy and infrastructure.
From land and sea to the skies, mobility innovation will stretch across CES 2027, with exhibits and experiences throughout the iconic West Hall, Central Plaza, and more, as well as major conversations on CES keynote and conference stages. Industry leaders including AMD, Aptiv, BMW, Bosch, Brunswick, Caterpillar, Corning, Emotiv, Ford, FORVIA, Garmin, Geely Auto, John Deere, Kia Corporation, KPIT Technologies Ltd., KPMG LLP, LG Innotek, Michigan State University, MinebeaMitsumi, Oshkosh, Quanttronix, Sonatus, Stellantis, Taktotek, Uber, Valeo, Waymo, Yazaki Innovations, Inc. and more will showcase what’s next at the world’s most powerful tech event.
“This is the most impressive lineup of mobility innovators I’ve ever seen at the show,” said Gary Shapiro, Executive Chair, Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, owner and producer of CES. “The companies defining the future of transportation are coming to CES, from automakers and autonomy leaders to software, AI, chips, heavy equipment and infrastructure. If you want to understand where mobility is headed, you need to be at CES 2027.”
Mobility will be in the spotlight from the opening days of CES 2027. Waymo Co-CEO Tekedra Mawakana will deliver a keynote on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 6:30 PM, and Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa will take the stage Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 8:30 AM, following the State of the Industry Address. The conversation will continue throughout the week on the Mobility Stage, presented by Bosch, and across dedicated conference programming exploring the technologies and business models changing transportation.
