Samsung Electronics has developed the industry's first LPDDR5X DRAM, achieving speeds of up to 10.7 Gbps using 12 nanometer-class process technology. This development advances the performance of low-power DRAM and is the smallest chip size among existing LPDDRs. The technology is designed to support the increasing requirements of AI-driven applications from PCs, servers, and vehicles to emerging on-device AI applications, offering a balance of high performance and energy efficiency. LPDDR5X solidifies Samsung's position in the low-power DRAM memory market.
