John Godfrey is Senior VP of Public Policy for Samsung Electronics America. Based in Washington, D.C., he leads Samsung’s public policy team in advocacy on 5G, IoT, digital TV, sustainability, cybersecurity, product safety, trade, and other areas. He is incoming Chair of the CTA Video Board and past chair of the CTA Foundation and the ATSC. Before Samsung, Godfrey was with Pioneer, Sony, and ITI.
