Corey Woods was elected mayor of the City of Tempe in March 2020. Since then, he has become recognized as a leader for advocating and expanding affordable housing and workforce housing opportunities and was named 2022 “Advocate of the Year” by the Arizona Housing Coalition. He has also advocated for data driven solutions for the challenges that the growing city faces.
