They'll also offer an industry update and examine how the tech sector is positioned to succeed in the new economy. IBM will open CES by featuring its *president and CEO, Ginni Rometty*. Following Secretary Chao's address, a panel of experts will discuss the importance of establishing public trust to ensure consumers understand the benefits of self-driving vehicles and that deployment of the technology is safe.
