Dr. Casagrande has more than two decades of experience to tackle the most extreme risks arising from the natural world, including the emergence of novel infectious diseases, laboratory accidents in, the misuse of biotechnology, and the employment of weapons of mass destruction. Recently, he has emerged as a leader developing methods to foster safety of frontier AI models and biodesign tools.
