Music-with-Movement System for Older Adults

The current system merges with medical research and engineering technology for the ageing population, that enables caregivers/staffs working in elderly care sector to deliver the music intervention in an effective and efficient way. All the elements are centralized in a tablet and cloud-based management platform. Integrating oldies music with the use of motion sensors and augmented reality is the first of its kind in music interventions. The interactive cognitive stimulating musical games maintains older adults’ level of cognitive and social stimulation. This therapeutic programme can solve the problems induced by social isolation.
