Danny Keens leads all global Content initiatives at NextVR, the leading virtual reality broadcaster for live sports, music, and entertainment. He brings to life all of the company's marquee strategic content partnerships with some of the biggest leagues and franchises in the world, including NBA, NFL, Live Nation, WWE and more. Before this, he was Head of Sports Partnerships for Twitter and also spent two years as the Director of Media Partnerships for Twitter Australia overseeing TV, Music, Sports, Government and Journalism verticals. During his time at Twitter he also served as the Chair of the Global TV team where he executed the company strategy with international production houses and broadcasters. Before Twitter, he was a TV Producer for 15 years and managed countless projects from initial innovative concept through the development process and into final production. He has been fortune enough to work with the world’s leading broadcasters including as a Producer for ‘SportsCenter’ the flagship sports new program of leading American cable network ESPN. More recently he travelled the world as a producer for the internationally renowned public affairs program ’60 Minutes’ based in Australia and relishes any opportunity to make award winning, dynamic, cutting edge content.
