Sara Fischer is a media reporter for Axios. She joined the company in 2016 as a founding staff member before the company launched officially in January 2017. Fischer is considered one of the top reporters on her beat. Revue cited her weekly newsletter, Axios Media Trends, as the second-most popular media newsletter in the market and deemed it a “must-read” by media industry leaders. She has appeared on more than 40 stages globally over the past two years, including: SXSW, Consumer Electronics Show, Mobile World Congress, Cannes, WORLDZ, LinkedIn Brand Connect and AdExchanger. Fischer has interviewed dozens of leaders in media and technology on stage, including Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, Vox Media CEO Jim Bankoff, Bloomberg Media CEO Justin Smith, Verizon President Ronan Dunne, and Univision CEO Vincent Sadusky.
