Cybersecurity for IoT Program Manager, Departmnet of Commerce, NIST

Katerina Megas leads the NIST Cybersecurity for the Internet of Things (IoT) Program at the US. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), an unbrealla program established to coordinate across NIST on cybersecurity activities focused on advancing and accelerating the development and application of research, standards, guidelines, and technologies necessary to improve the security and privacy of ecosystem of connected devices. Before leading the CS4IoT program, Kat lead the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC) Pilot Program, a part of the NSTIC National Program Office (NPO), as called for in the Cyberspace Policy Review. Before joining NIST, Kat worked in the private sector and led the development and execution of IT and cybersecurity strategies.
