Melissa Froelich

Melissa Froelich is on the Government Affairs team at Aurora, the company delivering the benefits of self-driving technology safely, quickly, and broadly. Melissa works with federal and state officials to advance policies that support the safe testing and deployment of self-driving technology. Before Aurora, Melissa served as Chief Counsel for the Consumer Protection and Commerce Subcommittee for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce, where she worked to develop and advance the first federal bills directly addressing self-driving car technology. Prior to that, she was Legislative Counsel at the National Retail Federation. Melissa is a proud alumni of the Moritz College of Law at the Ohio State University and the University of Miami.
