Sue Bai

Chief Engineer, Honda

Sue Bai is a chief engineer and division director in Honda Research Institute USA, Inc. He research includes wireless communication, Telematics system design and development, and connected and automated vehicle system. Sue has held leading role at SAE for many years working to improve safety and mobility for a variety of road users including vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and road workers. Sue also is the Honda technical leader for various industry-government collaborative projects. Sue is a Ph.D. candidate forcusing on automated vehicle human factors at University of Michigan. She also holds Masters of Science degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Industry Engineering.
