The Consumer Technology Association’s (CTA) TM annual CEO Summit concluded today in Barcelona, Spain, bringing together top-level executives from major tech companies to meet and network in an exclusive, invitation-only environment. The event featured CTA’s Startup Fast Pitch Contest, showcasing Spain’s most innovative startups, with Gestoos taking home top honors.

“Our CEO Summit is a unique event where leaders from some of the world’s most influential companies gather together to network, brainstorm and foster relationships,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CTA. “The Startup Fast Pitch Contest further elevated the event and provided Spain’s dynamic startup community the chance to wow some of the biggest names in tech. Gestoos’ AI platform that enables cameras and sensors to see, understand, and respond to human movement and behavior in any environment stood out from the rest and we can’t wait to see their innovation on display at the upcoming CES® 2019.”

The Startup Fast Pitch Contest featured eight innovative Spanish startups. The winner was chosen by the audience, which also included select regional media, based on the applicability to the consumer technology space, engineering qualities and aesthetic and design qualities.

Gestoos will receive booth space at CES 2019 in the Eureka Park Marketplace, home to 1,200+ startup companies from around the world. With access to more than 3,500 financial professionals, 6,500 members of the media, key investors and suppliers, Eureka Park provides startups with a unique opportunity to showcase their ingenuity.

CES 2019 will take place January 8-11, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada and will feature some 4,500 exhibitors across 2.8 million net square feet of exhibit space. For the latest news and information on CES 2019, visit CES.tech.
