CES Account FAQ

New for CES 2018, all attendees must create a new account — a CES Account — to build a personal agenda on CES.tech and use the features of the CES App.

Where do I use my CES Account? 

Your CES Account lets you log in to CES.tech to build a personal agenda and log in to the CES App to access the same personal agenda and to favorite exhibitors and network.

I already registered for CES 2018. Can I use my registration credentials to log into CES.tech and the CES App? 

No, you need to create a new account on CES.tech or the CES App. Registering for CES does not automatically give you access to My Agenda or the app features. 

Unfortunately, we were unable to unify all our platforms to use a single login for CES 2018. Your CES registration credentials are different from your CES Account credentials.

I created an account on the Exhibitor Directory. Can I use those credentials to log in to CES.tech or the CES App?

No, you need to create a new account on CES.tech or the CES App. (If you attended CES 2017, you may note that this is a change from last year.)

Unfortunately, we were unable to unify all our platforms to use a single login for CES 2018. The exhibitor directory credentials are different from your CES Account credentials.

How do I know if I have a CES Account? 

Everyone must create a new CES Account directly on the CES website Create Account page or through the CES App. This was available starting on Dec. 8, 2017.

If you did not create a new account on the website or app after Dec. 7, 2017, you do not have an existing CES Account.

To check whether you have an existing CES Account, try creating a new account. If you get a message that says the user already exists, walk through the password reset process to access your account, if needed, or log in

What is my CES Account username?

The username for the CES Account is an email address. 

I forgot my CES Account username. How do I retrieve it? 

For your security, we cannot reset CES Account usernames. If you forgot which email address you used to set up your CES Account, please create a new account. 

If you get a message during the account creation process that says the user already exists, that email address is your CES Account username. Walk through the password reset process to access your account.

Enter your email address on the Forgot Password page and follow the email prompts.
