Matt Goldstein has been a driving force behind the success of Madison Square Garden’s Marketing Partnerships team since joining the Madison Square Garden Company in 2014.  In just over three years, he has helped transform how the company views and leverages partnerships by ideating and implementing high-profile, 360-degree brand-building partnerships with many of the biggest artists in the music industry. Platforms leveraging the Knicks include an activation around 1989’s album release w/ Taylor Swift and Diet Coke as well as a multi-touchpoint engagement with DNCE, JBL & Buzzfeed. In an effort to work alongside artists and execute intimate underplay shows Matt and his team created a platform in partnership with Anheuser Busch titled One Night Only.  Shows to date include Florida Georgia Line, X-Ambassadors/Post Malone, Rascal Flatts & Aaron Lewis which are all part of an annual platform. 

Another platform led by Matt is Chase Sound Check which gives emerging artists the chance to perform on the doorstep of MSG for the very first time. MSG activated their 1st of 6 events with AJR w/ attendees including Chase VIP’s, Z100 winners, influencers, press & industry insiders. Lastly, Matt led a team that built a NY Liberty platform including a blowout performance and activation with Laura Marano, Kids Foot Locker, the Garden of Dreams Foundation & a dance troupe from CT. In addition to the above, Matt ideates big ideas and cross-concept platforms that leverage the entire Madison Square Garden Company portfolio, including the Knicks, Rangers, Radio City, The Forum, Chicago Theater, The Beacon, Tribeca Film Festival, Boston Calling, MSG Networks & the Madison Square Garden venue.
