Dre London

Dre London, born in London, moved to America with a vision of living the American dream in hopes of succeeding in life.  He started his career in London with an artist from the UK that he believed he could break in the United States.  Then in 2008 was the official start to Dre’s career, when he moved to New York City and started to network heavily.  He met various executives, producers and artists like French Montana, Jadakiss, Max B and more.

In New York CIty, Dre rented out a studio in Dumbo, Brooklyn where he put together such records as French Montana and Jadakiss’ “New York Minute”, French Montana’s breakout single “Shotcaller” and over the next couple of years started to learn the ins-and-outs of the music business before taking his operation to Los Angeles in 2012.

Once in LA, Dre hasn’t looked back.  He signed Post Malone to his management company London Ent. and took Post from the Internet to a Worldwide status symbol.  Dre secured four multi-platinum singles like “White Iverson” (4x Platinum), “Congratulations” (5x Platinum), “Too Young” and “Go Flex” all from Post Malone’s critically-acclaimed #1 debut album of all-time Stoney, which the RIAA certified as Platinum in April 2017; hitting that benchmark in under 4 months.  Now Dre is looking forward to the next chapter of Post Malone gearing up for the release of his sophomore album Beer Bongs & Bentley’s.  The first single from that sophomore project shook the whole streaming world, with “rockstar” featuring 21 Savage debuting at #1 in 27 countries and peaking at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 3 weeks and counting.

Carl Chery of Apple Music announced to The Verge <https://www.theverge.com/2017/9/25/16358026/post-malone-rockstar-apple-music-single-week-streaming-record> that “rockstar” shattered the single week streaming record on the platform, amassing over a half billion streams on both Apple Music and Spotify in the first two weeks of its release.  “rockstar” also helped continue the sales trend for Stoney which still continues to sell over 40,000 units on a weekly basis.

Other clients on Dre London’s London Ent. roster include actress/singer/songwriter Lexy Panterra who recently had blockbuster success starring in Tyler Perry’s Boo 2! A Madea Halloween, debuting at number one in the box office, 20-year old budding producer Tank God who was behind Post Malone’s successful single “rockstar”, and many more just to name a few.  And Dre’s goal for 2018 is to transition more into television and film.  With the vision of the American dream and a one-way plane ticket from Heathrow to JFK in 2008, Dre hasn’t looked back.
