Scott Corwin

Scott L. Corwin is a Managing Director in Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy and Business Transformation Practice based in New York. He leads Deloitte’s Future of Mobility (FOM) Practice.

Under his leadership, Deloitte’s FoM Practice is working closely with leaders in business, government and local communities to actively shape the emergence of the future mobility ecosystem. Scott serves as the Lead Consulting Partner for several current client engagements focused on navigating the challenges associated with this transformation and showcasing how the new ecosystem will operate.

He and his team have been systematically studying and analyzing how a series of converging forces are giving rise to the emergence of a new mobility ecosystem. They have explored how the ecosystem is evolving and the implications for all of the players involved. Their work is widely cited as being among the most insightful thought leadership on this multi-dimensional topic.  He is the lead author of “The Future of Mobility – How transportation technology and social trends are creating a new business ecosystem” (DU Press, September 2015) and ”The Future of Mobility: What’s Next?” (DU Press, October 2016) and a contributor to the 20+ articles his team has published over the past three years. Scott is leading a project with the World Economic Forum to accelerate the global adoption seamless integrated mobility systems (findings to be released in Davos in January 2018).

Deloitte's Future of Mobility insights have been widely reported on by the media and Scott's perspective has been prominently featured in national publications including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News, and USA Today.  Additionally, Scott speaks frequently at global conferences and delivered presentations at the 2016 and 2017 Consumer Electronics Shows, World Economic Forum, Israel’s Smart Fuel and Mobility Choices Summit, and presented at the Harvard Business School,  Harvard Kennedy School, UVA Darden School, Purdue, among others. 

Over the past three decades, Scott has helped senior leaders to successfully develop and implement strategy based transformations to address disruptive change in their industries and markets. He works with clients across a range of industries including automotive, tech, media, consumer products, financial services, healthcare, telecom, public sector, and NGOs/NFPs. The focus of these engagements has been to address core issues associated with: corporate strategy, innovation, globalization, market entry, portfolio strategy, advanced R&D/technology, supply chain, manufacturing, consumer experience, sales and marketing and distribution, new business models, digitization, etc. 

Scott has a BA, Magna Cum Laude, from Brandeis University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
