Her decisive leadership style has allowed organizations to establish a clear vision and shaped their business strategies through her ability to assess market trends quickly and to take risks to adapt to a changing environment. Her success is found in her commitment to nurture long-term customer and employee relationships.

With over 20 years in the telecommunications industry, Vibha started her career at Scientific-Atlanta (now Cisco), where she was integrally involved in the design and launch of the first digital networks and was awarded seven patents.  In 1999, Vibha co-founded itaas, a consulting firm focusing on the digital video delivery ecosystem where she served as itaas’ CEO and President.  Under her leadership and strategic vision, itaas grew from a start-up to a globally successful company, helping cutting-edge technology and telecommunications companies deliver a broad range of services to consumer devices. itaas’ customer list included the top tier of industry leaders such as Comcast, Time Warner, Cisco, Arris, Charter and Intel to name a few.

Vibha was instrumental in leading the M&A strategy that led to itaas’ acquisition in 2014 by Cognizant (NASDAQ-100: CTSH), one of the world’s leading professional services companies, transforming clients’ business, operating and technology models for the digital era, with over 260,000 employees worldwide.   She then served as the CEO of itaas, a Cognizant Company, and is now the heading the Digital Video Business and the Digital Marketing and Advertising Business, for Cognizant’s Communications, Media and Technology Practice.  Leveraging her business acumen, expansive and deep customer relationships and technology focus, Vibha is focused on accelerating technology and business innovation by bringing together the customers needs with the Company’s rich portfolio of offerings and global reach.

Over the years, the telecommunications and cable industry has honored Vibha with many awards.  She was one of twelve cable executives in Communications Technology Cable Hall of Fame.
