Diana O'Brien

Diana O’Brien is the first chief marketing officer (CMO) for Deloitte. Appointed in 2015, she reimagined marketing for the firm when she combined independent functions into a centralized, agile, data driven model. With responsibility to amplify the firm’s growth strategy, she focused on aligning brand execution with business strategy, creating fewer campaigns with greater impact. She continues to use insights, analytics and innovation to define and deliver the best customer experience.

For 32 years, Diana has empowered others to thrive. Her most recent roles include responsibility for Deloitte’s global clients, regions, industries, and insights program, as well as leading market development which included corporate citizenship, public policy, client experiences, and marketplace relationships. Prior to that, she was the first managing principal for Deloitte University and served as the managing principal for talent development. Earlier in her career she was the national managing director of Deloitte’s Life Sciences consulting’s practice and Cincinnati consulting office managing director and women’s initiative leader. She has served on the US and global executive committees, as well as various other firm committees. She continues to serve clients in the life science and public sector space.

She extends her passion to several charities related to autism and diversity. She is the chairman and founder of IMPACT Autism, a forward-thinking organization that creates and delivers life management solutions to combat the educational, emotional, and social challenges of living with autism. Diana holds an MBA in finance and a BS in behavioral management from Xavier University. She lives in Cincinnati with her husband and 22 year old triplets.
