Alarm.com Touchless Video Doorbell
A new video doorbell from Alarm.com eliminates the need for visitors to press a button and avoids the germs, bacteria and viruses that can exist on surfaces. The doorbell uses video analytics to ring itself when someone is at the door and has a built-in camera and microphone. The video analytics function can also be set up to trigger other devices such as smart lights.
BioIntelliSense BioButton
CES 2021 Innovation Award Best of Innovation honoree in the wearable technologies category, the BioIntelliSense BioButton is a medical grade, coin-sized device that continuously measures temperature, heart rate and respiratory rate at rest and analyzes the changes that may indicate symptoms of COVID-19. A scalable solution for health screening and contact tracing, BioButton can help companies and schools return to more normal operations.
Cove Stress-Reducing Wearable
Through the past year, mental health and well-being has become a higher priority for everyone. Wellness company Cove featured a wearable device that is designed to reduce stress and improve sleep. The device applies gentle vibrations behind the user’s ears, activating a connection between the skin and the brain and ultimately helping to regulate anxiety.
Razer N95 Mask
Gaming leader Razer displayed the concept of Project Hazel, a tech-integrated face mask with active ventilation and a case that recharges the ventilators while performing UV sanitization. The mask also contains a clear shield so others may see the user speaking — particularly helpful for those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Internal LED lights help make the user’s mouth visible in low light environments, and voiceamp technology ensures speech isn’t muffled.
Targus UV-C LED Disinfection Light
A CES 2021 Innovation Award honoree, the Targus UV-C LED Disinfection Light is designed to incorporate UV-C LED and automation technology to provide no-touch disinfection for computer keyboards and more. The product’s motion sensors allow the system to wait until a user is away from the keyboard before starting sterilization.
