Las Vegas Monorail
The Las Vegas Monorail connects the LVCC and Westgate to a variety of hotels on the Strip, including MGM Grand, Bally's, Flamingo and Harrah's. The monorail is often the quickest travel option to and from CES.
In 15 minutes or less, monorail riders can travel to and from the LVCC, Westgate and the Las Vegas Strip in a safe, clean and climate-controlled environment. Hop on for a one-way trip or pick up a seven day convention pass for the freedom to travel at your leisure.
Travel time from the Las Vegas Convention Center Station to
Westgate Las Vegas station - 2.15 minutes
Harrah's station - 4.17 minutes
Flamingo station - 5.42 minutes
Bally's/Paris Las Vegas station - 7.06 minutes
MGM Grand station - 9.12 minutes
The Las Vegas Monorail is offering discounted tickets on select fare types for CES attendees and exhibitors. Check back later this fall for more information and to purchase discounted tickets. It’s never too early to buy, as tickets expire one year from date of purchase.
Taxis are another way to get around Las Vegas. You can hail a taxi from the front of the LVCC (in front of both North and South Halls), Westgate, Renaissance and The Venetian.
Looking to jump the long taxi lines? Download Bandwagon before you arrive in Las Vegas to decrease taxi line wait times at the North and South exits to the LVCC and Sands Expo. Matched parties get to jump the line for priority access to departing taxis, saving you time and money.
Uber and Lyft in Las Vegas
Uber, Lyft and other transportation network companies (TNCs) are now operating in Las Vegas and available to get around during CES. If you are planning to use one of these services, be sure to pay special attention to pop-up messages within the app as pick-up locations are restricted in Las Vegas. Keep in mind that most resorts and show venues have designated specific entrances for TNCs picking up passengers, and you will have to go to those locations in order to meet your driver.
During show days at the LVCC, for example, you will have the option to choose between two pickup spots, one in the Gold parking lot and one in the Bronze parking lot. At the Sands, you may meet your driver in the main porte-cochere; at the Venetian in the Valet area in the parking garage. At the Venetian, for example, you may not meet your driver in the main driveway. As a safe bet, always follow the in app directions and on-street signs.
